Welcome to Autumn 2020
The weather this year has been undoubtedly fantastic. Which has helped us through the uncertain and challenging times we all faced. It was great to see so many happy faces around the park when we reopened in July. Things on our parks this year have been different, and we really appreciate the continued efforts by you all adhering to Government guidelines. These rules that have been put in place to try to keep us all safe. Please keep up the good work and hopefully we shall all be socialising together again soon.
We experienced a huge upturn with increased bookings for the touring park. As many abroad trips were cancelled caravanning was the ideal solution for a holiday, as we all knew.
Weekends on the touring park are now booked well in advance, and there has been an increase in people staying for longer periods during the summer months.
A surge in holiday home sales has proven staycations are the future (but we all knew this anyway). With demand high If you are considering upgrading to a new holiday home, then speak with our sales team and ask about our enhanced PX prices.
When lockdown began back in March, we were forced to close our parks, during this closed period we were constantly surprised by the continued support of our holiday home and seasonal tourer customers. We received messages of good will and even though they could not use or access their holiday homes they remained supportive and enabled us to continue with the maintenance of the park. We cannot thank you enough for this support. We will be extending our open season for those customers, so they can use their caravans throughout the winter period until we close on 14th February. This also applies to seasonal touring customers. Please note, there is no alternative to this arrangement. If you are not one of these customers and wish to extend your season with us, please contact reception. In the event the Government changes any of its guidelines, affecting your use of your caravan during this period, you must follow these rules accordingly.
- Please note that over the winter period:
- Reception hours will be reduced so make sure you have plenty of gas and electric.
- The launderette will remain open.
- In wintery conditions we do not grit roads or paths, please use extra care.
Your holiday home may need draining each time you leave it so keep an eye on the forecast. Please ensure you have enough electric, gas and washing tokens to last you over the closed period. The last day for delivery of gas is Tuesday 21st December. The overhead barrier will be closed and locked so no commercial vehicles whatsoever will be able to access the park. We recommend you drain down your Holiday Home at the end of the season, Martin Cartwright, On Site Services and R Solutions are the only site recommended plumbers. Please do not request any other contractor to come onto site as they will be refused entry. We also advise you have a gas safety check carried out on your boiler this should be done annually by one of our registered plumbers named above. Please can we remind you if you require any groundwork this must be done by our contractors. Ask at reception and we are more than happy to give you a quote. Any work that has been carried out by you will be removed through the closed season at a charge.
Only storage boxes supplied by the park may be stationed outside your holiday home. The park has suddenly sprouted lots of fake plants and ivy fence panels. Please can we ask that all these are removed by the end of the season. Please remember the last night for those new customers that are not automatically subscribed to the long season is the 13th November. All Holiday Homes must be vacated by 12 noon on the 14th November. For those who are subscribed to the extended season the park closes at 12 noon on the 14th of February.
CARS MUST BE REMOVED OFF PARK PLEASE NOTE You will not be able to gain access onto park through the closed season 14th February – 1st March 2021.
Electricity Upgrade works 2021.We have scheduled major electric upgrade work during the closed period. This is so we can start new developments on Pipers Height & Clifton Fields and will be turning the electricity off for this to take place, Please ensure you empty and turn off your fridges and freezers when you leave on the 14th February.
