Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Owner update 02/12/20
Unfortunately, due to the new Tier 3 lockdown restrictions put in place across Lancashire, our parks will remain closed to owners from 2nd December this will be reviewed by the government on 16th December.
This forced Government closure means that we will be unable to allow owners to stay overnight. However, many customers are requesting to visit their caravans and prepare them for the winter. If you wish to do this please ensure you have read the government advice on travel here and schedule your visit accordingly. Alternatively, we will be more than happy to empty your fridges, freezers and top up any electricity as required. Please email email@example.com if you need our help.
As you would have heard the government is changing the rules over the Christmas period, in between the dates 23rd December – 27th December. The guidelines can be read here. This Christmas guidance confirms, ‘you can stay in private rented accommodation with members of your household, or your Christmas bubble’, whilst the regulations confirm in this context that, ‘“private dwelling” includes accommodation in a campsite or caravan park’.
During this period if you intend to stay on the park please make sure you have adequate gas and electric as our reception will be closed.
Unfortunately, several members of our team are still furloughed due to the closure of our parks. This will affect our services this December. The office phone will be manned Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-12 noon. Our wardens will remain on park during the closed period to provide extra security. Also, can we remind all our customers that the park will close on the 14th February 2021 with major electrical works scheduled, this means electricity supplies to all holiday homes will be interrupted. Ensure all fridges and freezers are not left with food stored in them.
We kindly ask for you to bear with us as we work through these latest changes and thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to the prospect of welcoming you back onto Park as soon as possible.
Take care and stay safe
